The awards, given jointly by UNCTAD and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), were presented at the World Investment Forum at a pre-event of the UNCTAD XII quadrennial conference in Accra, Ghana.
The Board of Investment (BOI) of Mauritius won first prize. The Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) were joint runners-up.
