Civil Society Forum

About 300 NGOs, private-sector bodies and academic institutions will participate in the Civil Society Forum, which takes place in parallel to the Conference.

The Forum provides civil society representatives from different regions with an opportunity to hold a dialogue on the main issues, in line with the theme and sub-themes of the Conference, and to contribute to the discussion on trade and development issues.

The first part of the Forum - from 17-19 April - will be held in the NGO Centre at the Accra National Theatre and will be open to civil society actors not accredited to UNCTAD XII.   The main Forum will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Forum will issue a declaration to the main Conference.
